INSIDEflows.org is an online community of designers, interior architects and everybody else who is interested in designs that are based on the knowledge of flows. The site allows you to promote items that celebrate inventive sustainable interiors. This means that all examples of flow-based design for small commodities, furniture, buildinginteriors and urban interiors are welcomed. Next to exhibiting applications, we promote the development of knowledge on the subject by analysis, adding scientific background and allowing usercomments.
We realise that the field of knowledge where flows and design meet is very young. Failed and highly experimental even speculative projects have just as much value as those that have proved to be succesful. we hope The platform is able to inspire and speed up the process towards a more sustainable use of our resources.
JOINING INSIDEflows.org
By signing into INSIDEflows.org you will be able to add your own stories (see below) and comment other members stories. Sharing, viewing, commenting influences the order of posts. Only registered visitors are allowed to comment on other peoples designs and rate other peoples comments. Occasionally we’ll send a newsletter to all of the subscribed visitors of INSIDEflows.org, this is the only way we’ll use your data.
ADDING YOUR DESIGN TO THE SITE
Via three steps you are directed through adding your post to INSIDEflows.org. This is very simple and self explaining. Every post should contain a minimum of one image, accompanied by links, flowcategory and a brief text introducing the topic. This can be expanded with a geotag on Google maps, You can also attach pdf reports or schemes like Material Flow Analysis, Sankey diagrams and the like. After posting your item, the story is queued in the system and added to the INSIDEflows page only after one of the editors has approved it. The user of a rejected entry will be notified of the whereabouts.
IMAGES
An uploaded image is preferrably of square format for the featured image and the logo one, and at least big 480×320 pixels wide and/or high for the post ones. Be aware of the image background as it might easily disturb the focus of interested visitors.
